MMM Gigs

Since the Re Birth of Monkey' Mystery Machine in 2001 "The Mystery Machine has been seen in the following places.

One Night Only - October 20th 2001.

This was as the name suggests going to be a one off Gig. Steve Monk hung up his Top Hat & Tails back in 1983 after 11 years as a mobile DJ. It was billed as a one off re-union at Rolvenden Village Hall to relive the heady 70's youth clubs days one more time. An estimated 400 people attended and Steve was bitten by the bug again.

One More for the Road - April 20th 2002.

Steve decided to take the Mystery Machine to Ashford Town FC for a one off Gig, A great contingent of people from Rolvenden turned out for this as well.

25 Years On - June 30th 2002.

As Steve Monk and his Mystery Machine did a gig on Her Majesties Silver Jubilee in Rolvenden in 1977, he felt it fitting to do the Queens Golden Jubilee evening event in 2002, hence 25 years on. Another resounding success.

The Final Countdown - October 26th 2002.

Billed as the very last time the Mystery Machine would be seen this was to be the be all and end all of it. But you guessed it still being bitten by the Bug Steve decided to invest in some equipment and hit the road again. So Monkey's Mystery Machine is back.

Since these public Gigs Steve has taken the Machine to various private functions performing what he knows best 70's nights with a predominant mix of 70's classic Rock, Disco, Funk and Fun tracks mixed with a few newer Disco mixes which appeals to both young and not so young alike.

Future Public Gigs are being planned, so watch this space and relive the seventies once again.
